Game Notes: |
In game 3 of the Cherry Creek Classic
Stars go behind 6-0 and are one hit away from being run ruled in the game
when the bats finally come to life and the Stars pound out 10 hits and fight al the way back to beat a very good team 11-10. Ryan Colombo
went the distance on the mound and after the first inning made adjustments
and strikes out 6 while only walking 1. From the plate Jeremy Thomas led the
way with 3 hits, Ryan Colombo added 2 hits and a double, while Mason Gifford
and TJ Perez both had 2 hits as well. This game may go down as one of the
best comeback games in recent Stars history as they will next be in action on
Saturday at 11:30am at Mt. Vista. |
