Game Notes: |
Stars open the 2013 Summer season
at Mid-American Nazarene in a game against JC Hornets. Marcus Catron gets the
start on the mound and does a nice job for 4 innings, Taylon
Lopez throws the final 3 innings allowing 1 earned run and striking out 3
along the way. Stars play decent for first game of the year but have no
offence in what is the 1st of many wood bat games this season as
they could only muster up 1 hit along the way which was TJ Perez, but as a
team only have 6 k’s so they put the ball in play for the most part. Stars
drop the season opener 7-3 and will look to rebound and get the bats going in
game 2 of the day at 2:45pm against Natural Baseball Black. |
