Game Notes:

Stars win second game in a row in dramatic come from behind fashion scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning once again to win and hand Manhattan their 1st lose of the season. Grant Ferrell picks up his second win in as many starts and goes the distance. Stars only commit 2 error in the game the bats were silent as the Stars can only muster up 4 hits in the game but smart base running and smart plays on the field amounted to enough to win this game. For the 1st time this season the team played well together they talked they wanted to win a ball game and never laid down even when Manhattan scored 2 in the 7th they came right back to win it. If the team can carry over this attitude in Colorado next weekend we will be successful and could win some games even with the depleted roster due to injuries. Stars are now 2-1 in the tourney and control their own destiny with a win in the next game they will move on to the semi finals on Sunday. Next game is at 11pm Saturday evening vs Hays.
