Notes: Stars Blue team in game two of the double
header VS Cloud CCC picks up the second win of the season and the first against
a college this year. Stars’ pitching was
once again the key as Starter Skylar Hardy throws 3 shutout innings allowing
just 1 hit and striking out 3. Jordan
Hoefler comes in for the 4th and 5th and allows 2 runs on
just 2 hits, while Buster Reddick closes the game the final two innings
allowing no runs on no hits and strikes out 2.
From the plate the bats awoke as the Stars pound out 11 hits in the game
with Riley Price leading the way with a 3 for 3 performance, Shanon Engroff
added a double in the 4th which scored the first run of the game, later
that inning Chris Bervert after getting a single executed our getting picked
off first play that allowed the second run of the inning to score. After Cloud tied the game in the 5th
the Stars come right back and score 2 more in the top
of the 6th with big hits from Tyler Baker, Kellen, Gil, and Riley
Price in the inning. 8 Stars players have hits in the game, and Stars also play
error free ball this game. Stars improve the record to 2-3 and will next fact
Allen CCC on Sat. Sept. 13th at Allen CCC at 6pm.
